Do You Know What Is Leaky Gut Syndrome?

What is leaky gut syndrome? Gut-associated lymphatic tissue (GALT) is important for the body's defence against infections and it accounts for about 80% of the immune protection.

GALT produces an antibody called immunoglobulin A (IgA) which acts locally in the gut lining to protect it from surface toxins and bacteria. This protective function goes awry in leaky gut syndrome. This means a patient's body is exposed to attacks from different disease agents.

Autoimmune reactions react in unexpected and unusual ways by attacking the body's own tissues and leading to cause diarrhea, malabsorption and nutritional deficiencies. For more about leaky gut syndrome, go here: http://leakygutsyndromecure.org
